1. SóGuia’s role
SóGuia acts as a platform for advertising and connecting candidates, businesses and employment agencies. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SóGuia does not participate in selection, interviews, hiring, setting compensation, benefits, working hours, working conditions or other stages conducted by the advertiser.
2. Responsibility for job posting content
Job information is provided by businesses, employment agencies or other authorized advertisers. The party responsible for the posting must provide truthful, up-to-date information that complies with applicable law, including job title, requirements, workplace, type of employment, compensation when disclosed and other conditions communicated to the candidate.
3. Verification by the candidate
The candidate should confirm the existence, availability and conditions of the vacancy directly with the advertiser before providing documents, making commitments, attending interviews, traveling or entering into any employment arrangement. Publication of a vacancy on SóGuia does not guarantee hiring and does not automatically certify the advertiser’s reliability.
4. Fraud, charges and prohibited practices
Fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful job postings, or postings used to improperly obtain personal data, documents, payments or any undue advantage, are prohibited. SóGuia may suspend, block or remove postings and accounts when it identifies signs of irregularity, fraud, violation of these rules or noncompliance with the law.
5. Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SóGuia is not responsible for acts, promises, information, omissions, negotiations or hiring decisions made exclusively by advertisers or candidates. This provision does not exclude responsibilities that cannot be waived by law or the platform’s own obligations.
6. Personal data protection
Personal data processing carried out by SóGuia follows the Privacy Policy. Businesses and agencies that receive candidate data are also responsible for their own processing under applicable law.
7. Applicable law
These rules must be interpreted together with applicable Brazilian law, including Law No. 12,965/2014 (Brazilian Internet Civil Framework), Law No. 13,709/2018 (General Data Protection Law — LGPD), Law No. 8,078/1990 (Consumer Protection Code), where applicable, and other relevant regulations.
8. Reports and contact
Suspicious, fraudulent or noncompliant job postings may be reported to SóGuia through the official support and contact channels available on the platform.
